The sale was agreed in early 2017 to Nicholas King Homes on a conditional purchase subject to planning for the redevelopment of the existing site for residential purposes. A public exhibition was held in February 2018 for the redevelopment of the golf driving range to provide a 248 unit scheme, an outline planning was granted in September 2018.
